Sensory Creative Workshops
Sensory Creative Lab is a space of play and experimentation, where creativity meets science and inclusion is central. We work with you to provide fun, interactive and multi-sensory sessions that introduce participants to creative process.
Our unique workshops combine science, sensory integration, technology, music, oracy and visual art for an active learning experience like no other, one that teachers and students will never forget.
By ensuring an equal and accessible experience for all, participants discover connections between sound, drawing and movement, exploring their environment in new and exciting ways.
We work closely with schools and organisations to enhance their offer, helping them address specific needs by aligning this with our extensive experience of developing and delivering inclusive creative projects.
Sensory Learning Circuit
A combination of sensory circuit theory, technology and creative process, this session can be adapted to explore any topic, from set texts in English to History and PSHE. Our practitioners will set up an interactive sensory circuit for the participants to explore. They will do this several times across the session, building on their confidence, understanding, teamwork and creativity throughout.
Permission to Play
So many people begin by saying, “I can’t draw!” This workshop challenges that belief and opens up space to experiment without fear of getting it wrong – embracing experimentation, risk-taking and reflection, and showing how creative process can be captured in meaningful ways.
We explore the origins of the sketchbook and how documenting creative journeys strengthens literacy, oracy and skill development. Adaptable for any age group from Year 1 to university – and suitable for CPD.
Sound Sculpting
Interactive creative workshop in which participants create a play-doh shape to represent their selected sound. Using music technology, the play-doh is transformed into a custom musical instrument, with participants’ own sounds being played when striking the shapes.
Immersive Spaces
Interactive sound installation that invites audiences to explore the relationship between movement, sound, and space. Participants use their movements to interact with modular compositions, generating visual and sonic feedback.
