CPD, Training & Consultancy
We deliver 2-hour CPD sessions for educators, offering an opportunity to explore creative approaches to curriculum delivery and support students to develop their oracy skills, resilience, metacognition, team-working and confidence.
Sessions involve practical activity to allow educators the time and space to take creative risks and try new approaches. Our practitioners have a wealth of experience to draw on and will support participants to apply the activities to their own setting and/or specific curriculum areas.
We specialise in supporting educators to address specific needs within their setting such as students’ attitude to learning, attendance, confidence and motivation.
Primary Art Curriculum
Introducing exciting ideas for primary art projects, exploring different materials and processes. Sessions can focus on drawing, sculpture or colour and will explain the skill progression in relation to the selected focus. Participants will leave the session with examples and greater confidence to deliver back in the classroom.
Recording Creative Process
How to develop a unique record of the creative journey through experimentation, play, discussion, refinement and presentation.
This session explains the origins of the sketchbook and how an effective record of creative process can support literacy and oracy skills as well as supporting creative skill development.
Creative Sensory Circuits
We use technology to explore different topics using creative sensory circuits in schools, but we have lots of ideas for how schools and other settings can create their own, low-tech versions so that active, inclusive learning can continue back in the classroom.
This session introduces the theory behind our approach and demonstrates simple ways to bring this creative learning model to your setting.
